In Flames and Trivium Announce Massive European Co-Headline Tour for 2027

In Flames and Trivium are joining forces for a major European tour in spring 2027, bringing Paleface Swiss and VOLA along for the entire run. The tour will stretch from late March into May, covering the UK, Ireland and a large part of mainland Europe.

The pairing brings together two bands that have played significant roles in shaping different generations of modern metal. Swedish veterans In Flames remain one of the defining names of the Gothenburg melodic death metal sound, while Trivium have spent more than two decades building their own position between metalcore, thrash and modern heavy metal.

Rather than following the usual headline and support format, the running order will change depending on where the tour lands. Trivium will headline the UK and Ireland dates with In Flames appearing as special guests. In Scandinavia, In Flames take the headline position. Across the rest of mainland Europe, the two bands will operate as full co-headliners.

Paleface Swiss and VOLA complete the bill

The support package makes the tour particularly interesting. Swiss heavyweights Paleface Swiss and Danish-Swedish progressive metal outfit VOLA will open every date.

Paleface Swiss have rapidly moved beyond their underground roots with a mix of deathcore, beatdown hardcore and nu-metal. Following 2025 album Cursed and 2026 EP The Wilted, the band have become an increasingly prominent name on European heavy line-ups.

VOLA bring a very different dynamic to the package, combining progressive metal, djent and electronic elements. There is also an existing connection to In Flames: Anders Fridén appeared on VOLA’s 2024 album Friend of a Phantom.

Brussels, Amsterdam and seven German dates confirmed

For fans in the Benelux and Germany, there are plenty of opportunities to catch the tour. Brussels hosts the package on April 6, followed later in the run by German shows in Hamburg, Dresden, Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich and Bamberg. Amsterdam’s AFAS Live is scheduled for April 18.

The wider itinerary also includes Paris, Prague, Vienna, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Tampere, Riga and Katowice before the tour concludes in Poland on May 7.

The Belgian date has been confirmed for April 6, 2027 at Forest National in Brussels, with doors at 17:00 and the show scheduled to begin at 18:00. Live Nation Belgium lists both Paleface Swiss and VOLA as support.
